What is BYLC?

BYLC (Bangladesh Youth Leadership Center) is a youth development organization in Bangladesh that equips young people with leadership, professional, and entrepreneurial skills to create positive impact in public, private, and civil sectors. It brings youth from diverse backgrounds together to develop empathy, inclusiveness, and leadership capacity.

BYLC runs a variety of programs, including:

  • Leadership training (Building Bridges through Leadership Training (BBLT))
  • Professional development and career readiness
  • Entrepreneurship development and venture support
  • Online courses through BYLCx
  • Leadership programs for kids (LFK)

These programs help youth build soft skills, leadership capabilities, career skills, and entrepreneurial competencies.

Eligibility varies by program. Generally, many leadership and professional development programs are open to students and young professionals in Bangladesh. Some programs, like the Leadership For Kids (LFK), are specifically designed for children in certain grade levels (e.g., grades 3–5). Details for each program’s eligibility are shared during admissions.

BYLC’s mission is to enable youth to have high impact in public, private, and civil sectors and to demonstrate proactive action for positive socio-economic and environmental change. The organization emphasizes leadership through empathy, inclusiveness, integrity, and continuous learning.

Yes. BYLC operates BYLCx, an online learning platform offering courses on communication, critical thinking, leadership, professional development, and entrepreneurship. These courses are designed to be accessible from anywhere and help youth build 21st-century skills.
